Often times we hear a reference to the perfect ”white picket fenced” home. If you live in a big city, perhaps if you drive away from the heart of it all and more into the suburbs, you may find something close to that ideal vision. But most times you’ll find older homes with character, apartments, and condo. In newer developments, you’ll find the cookie cutter homes all lined up in a row like doll houses. These houses are often most times void of any character. We’ve all been sold on what is acceptable living and although the traditional dwelling is just fine, it may not always satisfy your urge for expressing yourself creatively.
I, Ralph, or you can call me Ralphy, love to explore alternative living situations. Living off the grid in a tent or a yurt or in a wooden shack or shipping container may be frowned upon but why must we all adhere to the same rules. We are all unique individuals yet we force ourselves to like in such uninspiring ways. Why not plant a garden on your roof or create a beautiful pebble garden on your front lawn rather than the water consuming grass? Why not, because the powers that be dictate everything.
Well, I’m her to explore it all, the traditional, the non-traditional and anything that my mind can conceive. It’s time to live people. Don’t be afraid to venture off and try something new. Live somewhere new. Dear to push the envelope and set your own rules. Some may call you a bohemian hippy or say that you have lost your mind. Others may say that you are ”Trash” but I say, let ’em talk. Who cares. You’ve got one life to live so live it how you want to live it, where you want to live and how you want to live.
I hope you enjoy my perspectives and are inspired by any of the alternative living ideas I bring forth to you. Enjoy my friends! Enjoy!
I’ll be glad to share with you my knowledge on how you can get land and get YOUR dream home plotted somewhere on this vast playground we call earth.
If you’re still not convinced, maybe you need to review a few other reasons why alternative living may be right for you or at the very least, have a better understanding as to why someone may choose to live this way.
Have a good one!
